I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for over 19 years, and bridal beauty has been my focus for most of that time. 

I got my cosmetology license in high school — I was the last graduating class before that program ended, so in a strange way, this career found me before almost anything else did.

I went on to Rutgers Newark for a degree in Criminal Justice, with minors in Psychology and LGBT Studies. I kept doing hair and makeup the whole time, and after graduation, cosmetology is what stuck. But that background never really left — I use it constantly, in how I read a bride’s comfort level, how I think about inclusive service, and how I build systems that actually hold up under pressure instead of just looking good on paper.

I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, so if that makes communication easier for you or your family on the wedding morning, I’ve got you covered. I’m also picking up Arabic — not conversational yet, but enough to read the room and pick up on what’s being communicated even when the words aren’t there yet.

What keeps me in this work after nearly two decades is the mornings themselves — watching someone go from nervous to ready, and knowing I had a hand in that shift. It’s a strange privilege, being trusted by someone who was once a stranger on one of the most important days of her life.

I take on one bride per day so nothing feels rushed, divided, or transactional. On your wedding morning, my role is simple: to bring clarity, steadiness, and care — so you can stay present.
